A11y Keys isn't remapping my key. What should I check first?

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and confirm A11y Keys is listed and enabled. macOS occasionally resets this permission after a system update, which is the most common cause of a remap not firing.

Does A11y Keys work with Voice Control specifically?

Yes — it's built around giving Voice Control's listening toggle a dedicated key, but you can point the remap at any key command your assistive workflow depends on.

Will my remap survive a restart or macOS update?

Your settings are saved locally and reapplied automatically on login. If a major macOS update ever changes how key remapping permissions work, re-check the Accessibility permission above first.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email support@hudsonperalta.com with a short description of what happened, your macOS version, and the key you're remapping. Screenshots help, but aren't required.

Can I request a feature?

Always. This is a one-person shop, so every request gets read personally — send it over and I'll let you know if and when it's feasible.
